In 2001 Tom Milo and Rick Nowak decided to go into the finishing supply business. Tom Milo had over 26 years experience in machine and supply sales working together with Rick Nowak 8 years in the industry. Rick also had business experience after taking over his father’s business in the same field.
Our goal was to represent the top leading manufacturers of equipment along with media and supplies. We are proud that almost all the products we represent are made in the USA. We also are allied with Washington Mills in their green remanufacturing program of spent aluminum oxide dust.
Great Lakes services what we sell with several techs who can tackle most problems. Our goal is to get our customers the best products at a fair price.
We have a large inventory of both machine parts and blasting media along with a test facility to sample our customers’ parts. If customers needs are job shopping parts we can try to get the job done in a timely fashion. We are centrally located in South Elgin Illinois giving us the ability to ship most anything within 24 hours.
Our building consists of 6000 square feet of warehousing with a staff of 7 employees. We pride ourselves with real knowledgeable people answering our phones. No voice mail. We are open for business Monday through Friday from 8:00 am. - 5:00 pm. so give us a call with your finishing needs.
